About Turunc

The bay of Turunc is one of the most beautiful along the coast of the Bozburun Peninsula of Turkey. It is overlooked by mountains and pine forests and offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The unspoilt Turunc still offers something of the real Turkeyand has a wonderful laid back atmosphere. It is a relaxed town with a slow and comfortable pace of life and therefore very appealing to those who seek a no hassle, laid back holiday. It is a charming, tranquil place, loved by many tourists who return each year and perfect for a quaint holiday home. Its sand and shingle beach is lined with bars, restaurants and it is very good for water sports. Turunc maybe small but there are enough good bars and shops in the main street to cater for most tastes. Turunc is known for its seafood and traditional Turkish cuisine.

Our Turkish Home

Comfortably furnished and provided with all modern necessities, such as TV, DVD/CD, air conditioning, as well as a fully equipped kitchen and balcony with furniture. The apartment can accommodate up to 4 people – The standard configuration is one bedroom with two single bed, one sofa bed and a fold away singe bed. The apartment is in a very quiet area approximately 200 meters from the beach and our balcony has panoramic views of the mountains. On site there is access to a communal swimming pool and gardens as well as an exercise room with gym equipment & games area.

Some helpful details and specifications:

1. There are six blocks with twelve apartments on our side. Each block has two stores and we are situated on the top floor and on the end of the our block facing pool side. There is another apartment block opposite us and a recreation block to the left.

2. We are unsure of the exact floor area of the apartment but it is approximately 54 square meters.

3.There are a few good quality supermarkets on the main high street in the village, which sell locally grown fruit and vegetables and freshly laid eggs.

4. There are parking facilities but these are located on the road along side the apartments.

5. The facilities on the premises are a shared swimming pool with grassed areas around the pool and complex, a gym and a games room.

6. The complex is gated but unfortunately there are no security guards 24/7. Turunc is a traditional Turkish village with very little need for modern security.

7. The selling price is £40,000

8. The maintenance has not yet been agreed seeing as the other apartments are still selling. Once more apartments have been sold, a meeting will be held with all the residents to decide on a monthly cost.

9. Unfortunately none of the apartments have a sea view, but the sea is approximately 200 meters behind the premises. The view is predominantly of mountains which surround the village.

How to Get There

You can fly to Dalaman from all major UK Airports. Dalaman airport is 100km away from Turunc and transfers take approximately 1 hour 45 minutes. Transfer arrangements can be made if necessary. These cost £45 each way for 4 people and luggage.
